WHAT IS PILATES?
The Pilates Method is a deeply mindful and connective form of fitness for balancing low-impact strength training and restorative stretching exercises. Pilates integrates body awareness, flow, precision, concentration, centering, and breathing techniques. It’s safe and sustainable because it allows you to reach your resistance edge without experiencing fatigue and burnout. Tia prioritizes deep awareness and presence in her sessions. The intention is to build a robust relationship with your mind and body so you can evolve from a place of trust and gentle ambition. The effects vary from defined muscles to greater flexibility and pain relief.
